Jansen Ranch – Portrait Locations

If you are looking for RUSTIC, Country, and barns, then the Jansen Ranch may be the perfect location. I live and work in the Spring Branch/Bulverde area, and I used to drive past this ranch every day. Some of the structures were built prior to 1900. It has the rustic, country feel to it that a lot of people really enjoy. I got to know the owner of the property, and he has been very generous to couples wanting to have engagement sessions here.

I’m not sure if it is the incredible sunset view that makes me love it so much, or if it is the rock work, the well and the barn. The best thing about this location is that your engagement session won’t look like everyone else’s! This is a little Hill Country gem that not many people know about. Oh, and there’s cows. Sometimes the cows will want to get in the picture with you. They are nice cows… they just like to photo bomb couples. You have been warned.
