The day had finally arrived for the Hernandez Quinceañera. It was a beautiful day. The skies were bright blue, and I headed over to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. It is a historic church not far from downtown. Shadowy and dark, with light pouring in through the stained glass. The Quinceañera Court began to arrive, girls in blue and white dresses, and the guys in sharp looking tuxedos.

After the mass, a stretch limo took everyone for a scenic tour of downtown, stopping for pictures at River City Mall.

It was a wonderful celebration. This is one of those families that you can tell by looking how close they are, and how much they all care about each other. Ally looked pretty in her white gown.

The reception was at the VFW, and let me tell you, they had some fine BBQ and excellent music. This was a fun family, and it was an honor to photograph them.
