Wedding Singer

We’ve all seen the movie “The Wedding Singer” with Adam Sandler. It’s hilarious. Last week, I met the REAL wedding singer. He’s a one man show. He’s the DJ, playing songs that will have your guests on the dance floor, but then suddenly he will grab his microphone, and he will serenade you with an incredible voice. His company is called Exodus Sound Co. and he advertises “the perfect mix of live music and DJ”. He told me that he sings all kinds of songs, from pop, to hits from the 50’s. He did an awesome set of Frank Sinatra!

Tutorial Edgy Portraits By Richard Spears

This is from four years ago. I was a member of a photography group, and they wanted me to share my technique for producing the “Edgy Portraits” like the Firefighter pictures in the blog. There’s an inside joke here that I should explain. I didn’t let him get under my skin and proudly owned the “Walmart Photographer” title.

Ivory’s Quinceanera in San Antonio

The forecast called for rain. I really thought it would. So much that I packed my raincoat and boots. It’s rare that everything on the big day goes like clockwork. The makeup and hair girls were on schedule, and on point. The girls were nervous about the dance, and did a little rehearsal in the living room. I could tell they’ve really worked hard on this. The dresses were beautiful, and the tuxedos looked sharp. Everyone looked fabulous and on time. When the stretch Hummer limo arrived on time, we were all ready.

Bridal Portraits in San Antonio

Bridal Portraits are Tradition! I’ve had several clients who aren’t sure about bridal portraits, and wanted more explanation about the need for them. Here in the South, it’s a wedding tradition to photograph the bride in her dress, so that the formal portrait can be unveiled and displayed at the wedding. I’ve had brides ask… Read More
